Sports Medicine Injuries

Sports medicine injuries typically have a known onset, but can also develop gradually.  This ranges from repetitive strain on a throwing shoulder, to a knee or ankle sprain.  The goal of rehabilitation is to protect the injured tissue, facilitate the healing process and promote proper movement in the body to prevent future injury.   While some injuries can't be avoided, optimal flexibility and strength will make you more resilient to potential injury.

Conditions include but not limited to:

  • Rotator cuff tears

  • Labral tears of the shoulder and hip

  • Adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder)
